I. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL


1.- Is there a an AIDA National Section established in your country, according to local laws, rules, and regulations?  In case there is, please inform the exact name assigned to your National Section.

II. STRUCTURE AND ORGANIZATION
 
 
1.- Please schematically inform, which is the institutional and administrative structure of your National Section: General Assembly; Board of Director; Honorary President; President; Vice-President (s); General Secretary; Administrative Director; Certified Public Accountant; Treasurer;  general staff (secretaries, etc).

V. ACTIVITIES AND INSTITUTIONAL AND ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
 
 
1.- Briefly point out the activities and academic programs that your Section usually carries out and has developed the past five years.
 
 
 
 
 
 
2. Briefly explain what plans does your Section plan to carry out in the next three years.
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Has your National Section hosted congresses; seminars; forums; colloquiums, or any other academic event. If this is the case, please detail the subjects and topics that have been developed in the past five years.
 
 
 
 
 
 
4.- Does your National Section count with a magazine, bulletin, or other type of information tool for its members  If this is the case, with what periodicity is it published?
 
 
 
 
 
 
5.- Has your Section published essays, works and/or  books on Insurance Law, whose authors are it members?  Please explain your answer.
 
 
 
 
 

6. Does your National Section, through its members, participate in any of AIDA’s Working Parties?  Please explain your answer.
 
 
 
 
 

7.- Does your Section timely answer the questionnaires sent by AIDA directors and Working Parties. If this is not the case, please explain your answer. Let us know if your Section provides information for AIDA’s information tools (i.e. AIDA-MAIL).
 
 
 
 
 

8.- Does your National Section have fluid and constructive relations with your country’s judicial power; with insurers and reinsurers; with insurer syndicates; and with governmental control agencies? If this is the case, please let us know what type of relationship exists with it/them.
 
 
 
 

 
9- Does your Section, directly or through its members, develop some type of relation with Arbitration and Dispute Resolution methods  for insurance and reinsurance contracts?
 
 
 
 
 
 

VI. STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
 
 
1.- Schematically determine which, in your opinion and that of other directors, are your National Section’s strengths and weaknesses.
 
 
 
 
 
 
2.- Are the national academic community; judges; lawyers; etc, interested in Insurance Law.  Explain your answer.
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Do you and other directors consider that your National Section is known by Universities; judges; the insurance and reinsurance markets, and, in general, by those interested in Insurance Law?
 
 
 
 
 

4.- Do you and other directors believe that new measures and strategies could strengthen your Section’s academic and scientific activities? If so, please explain your answer. 
 
 
 
 


 
VII. SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
1.- Briefly let us know all constructive suggestions and recommendations that you and your Section’s directors consider pertinent, so that AIDA International can provide you more support in order to strengthen your great institutional and academic mission.
 
For this purpose, please bear in mind AIDA’s Work Plan, approved by the Presidential Council on 2003 (Rio de Janeiro), sent to all National Sections and published at AIDA’s homepage. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2.- Would your National Section want to have closer and more permanent contact with AIDA?  If so, let us know what the Association can do to achieve this goal.
 
 
 
 
 
 
3.- Does your Section promptly receive AIDA information (i.e. Presidential Communications; General Secretariat’s letters; questionnaires; congress and meetings invitations, etc? If not, why do you think this is happening?
