2. News from the Presidential Council
The most recent meeting of the Presidential Council took place at the Hilton Hotel, Guadalajara, Mexico, on Wednesday 15 March 2006. This meeting was held in conjunction with the IX CILA Congress.
Matters discussed at the meeting included the XII World Congress being held in Argentina, October 2006; an update on the world congress questionnaires; the AIDA Prize for Scientific Investigation; a preliminary report on Diagnosis of Structure and Function of National Sections; Liber Amicorum; the Working Parties; AIDA's Electronic Insurance Library; Academic Cooperation Convention between AIDA and the Institute of Insurance Law of Paris; and AIDA's website.
XII World Congress
To date only a small number of responses to both the world congress questionnaires have been submitted. It is important that National Sections respond to both questionnaires to strengthen our association and advance the objectives of the World Congress.
