Welcome to the October 2007 issue of AIDA Mail.
This issue of AIDA Mail includes information about the next CILA Congress due to take place in Viña del Mar, Chile from 7-10 November 2007.
A Presidential Council update is included with details of the last meeting held in Rome in May 2007. Reports on the activities of the Reinsurance and Motor Insurance Working Parties are also available.
The news from National Chapters includes contributions from Australia, Austria, Hungary, Sweden and the UK, and provides news and details of recent activities and forthcoming events planned by AIDA’s Chapters.
The Legal Developments section contains an update from the Czech Republic on the legal framework of a distance consumer insurance contract, and an update from the UK on the Law Commissions’ proposed changes to insurance contract law.

Notice of a Meeting of the General Assembly of AIDA
Please note that there will be a Meeting of the General Assembly of AIDA after the Presidential Council meeting, at 11.00am on Wednesday, 7 November 2007 at the Hotel del Mar, San Martin 199, Vina del Mar, Chile.
