4. VIII CILA Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 30th April to
2nd May 2003
   

The AIDA Brazilian Chapter played host to the VIIIth CILA Congress - Iberio Latin American Committee, at the Sofitel Hotel in Rio de Janeiro from 30 April to 2 May 2003. The themes of the Congress included:-

• Insurance, Reinsurance and Terrorism;
• Pension funds for the 21st Century;
• Insurance Fraud;
• Legal Problems on the Worker's Compensation Insurance - Models and Experiences;
• New Forms of Life Insurance Development; and
• Mediation and Arbitration in Insurance and Reinsurance

The Presidential Council met during the CILA congress and a full report of that meeting is included in this issue of AIDA Mail.
