The XIVth World Congress, hosted by the Italian Chapter, will take place in Rome, Monday 29 September - Thursday 2 October, 2014.
The five topics for the Congress will be:
- Transparency, Conflicts of Interest and Intermediary Remuneration;
- Arbitration;
- Preventive Measures;
- On-Line Insurance; and
- Discrimination in Insurance.

The format for the subjects will be short presentations and roundtable/panel discussions with contributions encouraged from delegates.
The usual working party meetings will take place.
The Transparency Questionnaire (being the subject chosen by the host Italian Chapter) from which a Report will be prepared has been finalised and will be sent to all Chapters. The Questionnaire is attached in Spanish, Italian and English. A team headed by Giovanna Volpe Putzolu will be responsible for the Report. The deadline for Chapter responses was 28 February 2013 but this has now been extended to 31 July 2013. With regard to the other four Questionnaires, these are attached below, at present in English. The Chairmen of the four topics are:
Piero Bernardini - Arbitration - Procedure in Law
Samim Unan - On-Line Insurance
Birgit Kuschke - Discrimination in Insurance
Samantha Traves - Preventive Measures
The deadline for responses to these Questionnaires is 31 July 2013.
