AIDA FLASH

AIDA Flash is the AIDA news bulletin. These periodic bulletins contain news and information on the activities of AIDA's National Chapters and Working Parties throughout the world. AIDA Flash also contains news about forthcoming events, for example, future colloquia and congresses.

Reinsurance regulation in Argentina will change from 1 September 2011.  The new Resolution 35.615/11 was promulgated by the SSN (State Supervision in Argentina) on 21 February 2011.  From 1 September a Reinsurance Contract can only be entered into by Argentinean reinsurers and the subsidiary of a foreign reinsurance company situated in Argentina.  The brokers must be Argentinean or a subsidiary of a foreign broking firm but must have in place errors and omissions insurance for a minimum of US$1,000,000 or 10% of the amount of all policies they have sold in the previous year.
